Power BI Dashboards & Reporting

Replace manual reporting with dashboards people trust.

We design Power BI dashboards around the decisions your teams make, built on a semantic model with agreed definitions so everyone works from the same numbers.

Who it’s forLeadership, finance, sales and operations teams who spend hours each month assembling reports in spreadsheets.

Charts show monthly revenue against target, revenue share by region, product-line performance and a days-sales-outstanding gauge. Use the region buttons to filter the report.

Problems this solves

  • Month-end reporting takes days of manual work
  • Executives get numbers too late to act on
  • Nobody agrees on how key metrics are calculated
  • Existing Power BI reports are slow, cluttered or unused
  • Sensitive figures are shared too widely

What you receive

  • Semantic modelMeasures and definitions agreed with the business and documented.
  • Dashboards and reportsDesigned for the decisions each audience makes, on desktop and mobile.
  • SecurityRow-level security and workspace permissions so people see only what they should.
  • Training and guideShort sessions and a written guide for report users and owners.

Typical use cases

Each project starts with an agreed way to measure success.

  • Executive performance pack

Revenue, margin, cash and pipeline in one place, refreshed automatically.

Measured by: time to produce the monthly pack and how often it’s used.

  • Sales and pipeline reporting

Pipeline, conversion and forecast by region, team and product.

Measured by: forecast accuracy and adoption by the sales team.

  • Operations dashboard

Daily orders, fulfilment and service levels with exceptions highlighted.

Measured by: issues spotted earlier and manual exports removed.

How we deliver it

  1. Understand decisions

Interview the people who use the reports and list the decisions they make.

  2. Model

Build the semantic model and agree the definitions of each measure.

  3. Design and build

Prototype, review with users, then build the final reports.

  4. Roll out

Security, training, and a feedback loop for improvements.

Frequently asked questions

We already have Power BI. Can you improve our existing reports?

Yes. We often start by reviewing current reports, fixing the model and definitions, and redesigning the reports people actually use.

Do we need a data warehouse first?

Not always. Smaller projects can connect directly to source systems. If reporting needs data from several systems, we may recommend a data engineering step first.

What Power BI licenses do we need?

It depends on how many people view reports and your Microsoft licensing. We explain the options; licenses are purchased from Microsoft or your reseller, separately from our fees.

Can people ask questions of the dashboards in plain English?

Yes — that’s what a data agent does. See Data Agents & Conversational Analytics.
